I work the night shift at a Post Office in the Bible belt.  One of my co-workers is a white, hardcore-conservative, religious-Christian guy, who would never admit that he's a racist but seems to be one anyway.  The racists have all learned at this point that they don't want to be labeled a racist.  (Actually, several of my co-workers fit that description, but this guy in particular is loud about his views.)

This guy voted for W twice, proudly, and believed the Swift Boat Veterans raised good points about Kerry.  So that's who I work with.

We were talking about the election a couple of days ago.  He said he would never vote for Obama, because he's against "militant blacks." Also, he said he's against anyone who calls himself "African-American" because "why can't they just call themselves Americans like the rest of us?  Do I call myself English-French-German-American? No!"

So he's an idiot.  But I argued with him anyway...

Obama's response to Bush/McCain accusing him of being like a Nazi appeaser was sharp and fast.  He knew it was coming.

Here's how Ron Paul responded when John McCain made the same accusation against him during the Republicans' CNN/YouTube debate on Nov. 28, 2007:

Hey, it is cooler.

The bad people are going.

The conservatives are falling apart.

Negative campaigning isn't working.

1. I'm going to get Ted Kennedy.

2. I'm going to get Claire McCaskill.

3. I'm going to get Bill Richardson.

4. I'm going to get Daily Kos.com.

The most frustrating -- infuriating -- thing about Hillary is her stubborn refusal to admit when she is wrong or to take good advice from people whom she should see as allies.

It shows what a terrible president she would be.

Her stubborn refusal to drop out of the race despite every sensible person pointing out that it is impossible for her to win is just the latest example.  

But it fits a pattern:

Yeah, I know, at this point I don't like her either.  And I know many other Obama supporters are not going to give up their outrage about the Clintons' slash-and-burn campaigning easily.
